At MD Law, we’re growing our Dispute Resolution Team and are looking for a talented Solicitor with at least two years’ PQE to join us.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied and high-quality caseload, advising a diverse range of clients while developing your career in a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues, take on genuine responsibility from day one, and play an active role in the continued growth of our litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of contentious matters.
- Advising clients on a broad range of disputes, including breach of contract, shareholder and partnership disputes, debt recovery, professional negligence, property disputes and general commercial litigation.
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements.
- Representing clients throughout the litigation process, including mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, the courts and other professional advisers.
- Managing matters efficiently in line with court deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in dispute resolution/commercial litigation.
- Strong technical knowledge and a practical, commercial approach to resolving disputes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client care skills.
- Ability to manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, professional and collaborative approach.
