MD Law has acted for a Wickersley-based accountancy practice on its acquisition of Yorkshire and Derbyshire professional services firm SMH Group.
Parkins provides advice to businesses and individuals in Rotherham and the wider region.
MD Law company and commercial partner James Burdekin lead on the transaction for Parkins, which will now operate as SMH Parkins, continuing to serve clients from its Wickersley office with the same experienced team.
The acquisition is set to provide additional strength behind the scenes, with access to the wider expertise and specialist services available across SMH Group, including commercial finance, corporate finance, financial services, residential mortgages, and wills and probate.
James Burdekin said: “The acquisition of Parkins allows it to continue its established services across the region but access other services via SMH to increase its portfolio of expertise.
