At MD Law, we’re looking for aspiring solicitors who are eager to build their careers in a supportive, collaborative and ambitious law firm.
Our training contract offers high-quality qualifying work experience across a range of legal disciplines, giving you the opportunity to develop the skills, confidence and experience needed to qualify as a solicitor. You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of work, build strong client relationships and work alongside experienced professionals who are committed to helping you succeed.

What You’ll Gain
During your training contract, you’ll:
- Complete qualifying work experience across a minimum of four different practice areas, providing broad and varied legal experience.
- Work closely with experienced lawyers who are invested in your development.
- Take on meaningful responsibility from day one while receiving structured supervision and mentoring.
- Develop your legal, commercial and client relationship skills through hands-on experience.
- Build the knowledge, confidence and practical experience needed for a successful legal career.
Study Support
We welcome applications from candidates who have already completed the LPC or SQE, as well as those who are yet to begin their studies.
Whilst we do not provide funding towards the LPC or SQE, we are committed to supporting your qualification by offering:
- One paid study day each week whilst you are preparing to take LPC or SQE examinations.
- Paid time off for exams
- A supportive and flexible environment to help you balance work and study successfully.
- Where study days are taken during your training contract, the duration of your training contract will be extended where necessary to ensure you complete the minimum qualifying work experience required to qualify as a solicitor.

- Either have completed the LPC or SQE, or intend to undertake one of these routes to qualification.
